Krafft Basel Hotel

We loved the hotel's perfect location on the Rhine river, providing beautiful views of the river and bridges. The staff were excellent, offering great tips for getting around the city and vicinity. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious and the dining room had a fine view of the river. We also appreciated the easy access to transportation, with the tram station close by and the Banhoff stations easily accessible for exploring Switzerland.

Great location near everything. River view rooms with large balcony. No on-site parking but not too far away. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend and stay again.

The hotel had a friendly and helpful staff, always ready to assist. The location was excellent, right by the river and near a famous bridge. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with amenities like water, tea, and refreshments available on every floor.

One drawback was that the room on the top floor got quite hot at night, even with the window closed. The breakfast could have been better with more options for fruits and vegetables, as well as fresher bread and croissants.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was second to none, right along the river with stunning views of the Rhine. Being in the center of Basel, we were just a short walk away from the main museums. Our room was modern and comfortable, with a clean and spacious bathroom. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious options, including fresh bread, cheeses, and cold meats. We also enjoyed the free fruit and filtered water available on every floor.

The room lacked certain amenities, such as coffee/tea making facilities, which would have been a nice addition.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The location in a beautiful historical neighborhood on the river was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed leisurely walks along the river, exploring the nearby shops and restaurants. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and always willing to assist with any request. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as ironing facilities, a sitting area, and a terrace. We felt completely at ease with the in-room safe and the added convenience of free toiletries. The hotel also had a fantastic dining experience, with a restaurant that served delicious meals and a bar/lounge area where we could relax and unwind. We were impressed with the special diet menus available for those with dietary restrictions.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in this historical neighborhood.

Charming, beautiful hotel with a characterful interior and exterior. Convenient location, walking distance to everything in Basel. Comfortable, spacious room with a fine view of the river. The hotel offers bikes for guest use and free apples, filtered water, and tea on every floor. The check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Basel.
